Job Description


  • Will be working on the collections team
  • Will be writing digital content for regarding options for people that may not able to pay their bills right now. May give them options to pay a portion of the bill now or delay payment for a month, etc.
  • Will also be writing email content saying for example- “You’ve missed a payment, but if you lost your job and are out of work, we can be flexible with you. Let us know how we can help”
  • Will need a need a balanced and tactful approach that is compassionate but tries to find an agreeable solution.
  • 3 places where they will write content:
  • customer communications by email
  • internal communications to arm internal bankers with messaging over the phone or at the bank branch

Must haves

  • 3-10 years of digital content writing experience or fewer if they have a banking operations/customer service background
  • Experience writing digital content for a .com site, digital marketing, or internal communications
  • Need a balanced background in one or some of these areas: content strategy, communications, banking operations, customer service, collections
  • Financial services ideally or healthcare experience may be helpful
  • Not looking for people with only small company experience
  • Need to be comfortable in a large matrixed organization where multiple people may need to sign off on content or a message before it is sent out.
  • Experience working in large organization with some politics and territorial
  • 60% creative regarding messaging, think outside of the box/40% of the role regulatory
  • Not doing designing but will work with a designer
