Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with Search products and the global online landscape.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex or international projects.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and communicating change.
  • Understanding of technical language or tools such as SQL.
  • Ability to influence counterparts across different areas of an organization (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.).

As the Global Product Lead for Search Ads, you’ll work closely with highly technical Product Managers and our Sales teams globally to contribute to the development of ad products for Google.com to create advertiser and user value. You will work in close collaboration with our partners in-region to understand the specific insight and reporting needs. The product set you will work on will range from global commercialization of ad products to strategic thinking around automated search campaigns.

Your focus is to help turn innovation into complete, packaged tools that allow our customers to get the most that they need from our products. As part of the Global Solutions team, you’ll help to ensure that Google has adopted the right strategy for our products. Working in one of three specialized areas – Performance, Brand, or Publisher & Platform – you’ll use your expertise to help front-line Sales partners to work their magic quickly and effectively. You are passionate about all things digital, and want to help shape the world of online advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with go-to-market partners in-region to identify needs of our customers and sales teams globally. 
  • Create global perspective while assisting regional team members to navigate the specific in-country needs of their sales teams and clients. 
  • Develop commercialization strategy for Search ad product launches in partnership with other teams and regional go-to-market stakeholders. 
  • Work towards strategic product milestones in collaboration with teams.
  • Communicate product features, sales/advertiser requests, and product launches clearly to a global audience.
